1. Our commitment
Music-making should be open to everyone. We want PsiLoops and psiloops.com to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology.
2. This website
psiloops.com aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice that means:
- it works with a keyboard alone, with visible focus and a skip-to-content link
- headings and landmarks are structured for screen readers
- images have text alternatives
- text meets contrast guidelines against the dark background
- animation is reduced when your device asks for reduced motion
3. The app
Accessibility features in the PsiLoops app include:
- Learn mode, which labels every control and adds a ? tip to each section
- quantize, which lines up taps with the beat, so precise timing isn't required
- five color themes, and haptic feedback
- six languages: English, German, French, Japanese, Dutch and Brazilian Portuguese
We're still working on full VoiceOver and Dynamic Type support for the main performance screen. If something gets in your way, please tell us. It directly shapes what we fix next.
4. Feedback
If you run into an accessibility barrier, email craig@psiloops.com or message @psiloops on Instagram. We aim to reply within two business days.
