Terms of Service
Last updated October 12, 2026
1. The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and PsiLoops (Craig Cowden, Oregon, USA). They cover the PsiLoops app and psiloops.com. By using either, you agree to them. Using the app is also governed by the license agreement (EULA), and our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data.
2. Using PsiLoops
You can use PsiLoops for personal music-making on any Apple device you own or control. Please don't:
- copy, extract, resell or redistribute the app's built-in sounds as samples, sample packs or loop libraries
- try to unlock Pro features or content without a subscription
- reverse-engineer the app, or interfere with the servers that deliver sound packs
- use the app to break the law or infringe anyone else's rights
3. The loops and the music you make
The loops, kits and one-shots in PsiLoops are made by the artists credited in the app and licensed to us. They stay the property of the artists and PsiLoops.
Recordings you make in PsiLoops are yours to keep, play and share for personal, non-commercial use, such as posting a set on social media or sending it to friends. If you want to release, sell or monetize music that uses PsiLoops' built-in sounds, email craig@psiloops.com first so we can check it with the artists involved.
4. Your own audio
Anything you record or import (your voice, your samples, audio from your files or videos) stays yours, and it stays on your device. We don't receive it or claim any rights to it. You're responsible for having the rights to anything you import, so don't use material you don't have permission to use, and don't record anyone without their consent.
5. Pro subscriptions
- Pro is an auto-renewing monthly subscription, bought and billed through your Apple account.
- The current price is shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
- It renews each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancel any time in your Apple account settings, and Pro stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.
- Promo codes are redeemed through Apple and can't be exchanged for cash. If we change Pro's price, Apple will tell you in advance, as its rules require.
Content and features may change over time. We add packs regularly, and occasionally one may be retired at an artist's request.
6. Feedback
We love ideas. If you send feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve PsiLoops without owing you anything for them.
7. Copyright concerns
If you believe something in PsiLoops infringes your copyright, email craig@psiloops.comwith a description of the work, where it appears in the app, your contact details, and a statement that you're the owner (or authorized to act for them) and that the information is accurate. We'll look into it promptly.
8. Disclaimer and liability
PsiLoops is provided “as is”. We work hard to make it reliable, but we can't promise it will always be available, bug-free, or right for your particular purpose. Keep copies of recordings you care about, since they live only on your device.
To the fullest extent the law allows, PsiLoops isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost data or profits. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50 if you haven't paid anything. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you, and nothing here affects your rights as a consumer.
9. Ending things
You can stop using PsiLoops any time by deleting the app (and cancelling Pro in your Apple account). We may stop providing the app or your access to it if you seriously break these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, unless the law where you live says otherwise. If there's a problem, please email us first. Most things get sorted out quickly that way.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as PsiLoops changes. We'll update the date at the top, and give notice in the app or on this site before any significant change takes effect. Questions go to craig@psiloops.com.
